This is what we do
Active's Volunteer Drivers provide a lifeline for people in Frome and the local area who are isolated and need to access the things they need safely and cheaply. Our drivers will go as far as the RUH in Bath if needed.
A contribution of a £3 booking fee + 60p per mile is requested to cover drivers expenses with 50% discounts if you have a bus pass.
We are also always looking for new volunteers to come and join us " Volunteering as a community driver is really enjoyable - I get to meet some interesting people, plus it is a useful service, so what's not to like?"
